There a few things that come to mind when I think about the Beastie Boys.  The first is the loud belting of "YOU'VE GOTTA FIGHT/ FOR YOUR RIGHT/ TO PAAAARTAAAAYY!."  And the second is the introduction of Spike Jonze videos (i.e. "Sabotage").  But my favorite BB track is "Intergalactic."  The beat always gets me going, and whenever I hear it, I always go back to the age of 17; a senior in high school and working at an independent music company--this song is a part of the soundtrack of my life.

It's sad that the 47-year-old Yauch, who was one third of the rap-punk trio lost his life today to cancer.  So in his name and honor, we will forever fight for our right to party.

What I like about both songs: they're my favorite on the tracks on their respective albums.  What I like about the videos:  they're simple and artistic.  What I like the most:  they're both released within days of each other, yet their albums were released a couple of years apart.
